PM Abiy Ahmed extends greetings to Muslims amid Eid al-Adha
Addis Ababa, June 27, 2023 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has extended his greetings to all Muslims amid Eid al-Adha holiday to be observed worldwide tomorrow.
In his Eid al-Adha message, the Prime Minister remarked: “Let us united for the sake for Ethiopia even if we come from different placed, we speak different languages and follow diverse religions.”
Eid al-Adha is a holiday which Muslims celebrate with great reverence and love. The holiday commemorates sacrifice. Since it is one of the Five Pillars of Islam, every Muslim is expected to participate in Hajj once in their lifetime during Eid al-Adha, provided they are physically fit and financially capable.

Muslims from all parts of the world gather at Mount Arafat irrespective of their differences to participate in the prayer of Hajj Pilgrimage, the Prime Minister said, calling for mutual respect, cooperation and unity during the Eid al-Adha holiday.
