PM Abiy Ahmed extends Africa Day message

Addis Ababa, May 25, 2022 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has extended best wishes to all Africans on the celebration of Africa Day.

“On this Africa day, we reaffirm the vision of continental unity and the commitment of our ancestors’ towards a peaceful, integrated and prosperous future!” the Premier said.

Africa Day is observed annually on May 25 to commemorate the founding of the Organization of African Unity (OAU) established on 25 May 1963.

This year’s Africa Day celebrates Africa’s indigenous foods, their diversity and nutritional value, According to African Union.
