PM Abiy Ahmed attends a New Year festival with Western Command troops at Mai Tsebri front

Addis Ababa, September 11, 2021 (FBC) – Prime Minister and Commander in Chief of the Army, Abiy Ahmed attends a New Year festival with the National Defense Forces Western Command troops at Mai Tsebri front.

Addressing the gatherings at the festival, Prime Minister Abiy said the gallantry of the army has startled the enemies of the nation while making Ethiopians feel proud.

The Premier praised military leaders and troops of the Western Command for enabling the nation to beat antagonists and then gear up of a new hope of better future.

Ethiopia is rushing after peace and prosperity, the Premier noted, but, with firm readiness to bravely defend any force that might attempt to jeopardize its sovereignty.

“We are working to pass on a unified and independent nation to coming generations,” the Prime Minister underlined.
