PM Abiy Ahmed arrives in Nairobi to attend 39th IGAD Extraordinary Summit

Addis Ababa, July 5, 2022 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and his delegation have arrived in Nairobi, Kenya to participate in the 39th Extraordinary Assembly of the IGAD Heads of State and Government.

IGAD Executive Secretary, Worknesh Gebeyehu and Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kenya have welcomed Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed upon his arrival in Nairobi.

IGAD comprises Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, Uganda, Sudan, Djibouti, South Sudan and Eritrea as a regional as a bloc for regional cooperation in multifaceted areas.
