Peace process demonstrates commitment for African Solutions to African Problems: DPM Demeke

Addis Ababa, April 23, 2023 (FBC) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Demeke Mekonnen, in his message at the conclusion of the peace process, stated that the African Union led peace process has demonstrated the wisdom and commitment for the principle of African Solutions to African Problems motto.

“We are grateful to the leadership of our continent and the African Union Commission, the republic of South Africa and the Republic of Kenya for hosting the peace talks. he said.

“We are indebted to the dedication and leadership of the AU high level panel and all friends of Ethiopia for the success of this process,” Demeke added.

Demeke Mekonnen further reaffirmed Ethiopia’s commitment to continue consolidating and sustaining peace and rebuilding communities affected by the conflict.
