Peace Minister holds discussion with UN chief for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs

Addis Ababa, July 30, 2021 (FBC) –Minister of Peace, Muferihat Kamil received UN Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs, Rosemary DiCarlo.

Muferihat briefed the Under-Secretary-General on the current situations in Ethiopia and humanitarian aid in the northern part after the unilateral ceasefire decision by the Ethiopian government.

Moreover, they exchanged views on the on-going reform program and national dialogue as well as recently held peaceful general election, according to the Ministry of Peace.
