Partners provide over 253mln birr to support conflict affected communities in Amhara Region

Addis Ababa, August 4, 2022 (FBC) – A consortium of several homegrown development enterprises have provided more than 253 million birr to support of people affected by the conflict, and contribute to restoration of damaged infrastructure in Amhara Region.

The support has been coordinated by a development association named ‘Compassion International Ethiopia’.

It is indicated that the donation will be used to restore 32 schools, 17 health and agricultural institutions in the region. Moreover, 1.4 million people are said to benefit from the support.
