Over 9.1mil quintals of fertilizers distributed in Ethiopia, 1.1mil in route: Amb

Addis Ababa, July 17, 2023 (FBC) -The seamless transportation of fertilizer from Djibouti’s ports to multiple regions in Ethiopia is currently underway, according to Ethiopian ambassador to Djibouti.

Highlighting the achievements facilitated by the efforts of the Ethiopian government, ambassador Berhanu Tsegaye disclosed that over 9.1 million quintals of fertilizers already distributed to regions in Ethiopia.

The ambassador added that an additional 1.1 million quintals are in route, providing crucial support to our farmers.

He stated that over the next 15 days, the country anticipates the arrival of additional ships carrying cargo fertilizers at Djibouti ports.
