Over $850mln obtained from export of grains, cereals: MoTRI

Addis Ababa, August 11, 2023 (FBC) – The Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration of Ethiopia (MoTRI) today confirmed that US$854,834,000 earned from export of grains and cereals.

The Ministry noted that the initial plan for 2022/23 Ethiopian financial year was to collect US$1.162 billion.

The exported products include grains, oilseeds, millet and sugarcane, khat, livestock and timber, MoTRI indicated.
