Over 2,000 more Ethiopian migrants return home from Saudi Arabia

Addis Ababa, July 14, 2021 (FBC) – Additional 2,042 Ethiopian compatriots have returned home from Saudi Arabia on Wednesday as per the efforts under way to repatriate all undocumented migrants from various detention camps in the country.

Out of the returnees, 229 are female while 136 are children, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Returnees have received warm welcome from officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs upon arrival at Bole International Airport.

Agency for Refugees and Returnees Affairs is working with various international partners to reinstate and reunite the returnees with their families.
