Oromia tourism bureau plans to create half a million jobs

Addis Ababa, December 15, 2020 (FBC) –The Oromia Tourism Commission plans to create employment opportunities for half a million youth over the coming five years.

Oromia Tourism Commissioner, Lelisie Duga, told journalists today that woks will be carried out to make the Oromia regional state the best place to visit.

She said the regional state has attached prime attention towards benefiting people living around tourist attraction sites, besides creating 500,000 jobs.

Extensive promotion and development of tourist sites will be carried out so as to exploit the tourism potentials available in the region, the Commissioner said.
