Oromia regional state extends gratitude to the people, security forces for successful Irreechaa celebration

Addis Ababa, October 2, 2022 (FBC) – Head of the Oromia regional state, Shimels Abdisa extended his gratitude and appreciation to the security forces and the people at large for contributing to the successful and peaceful celebration of the Irreechaa festival.

“On behalf of the people and government of Oromia region, I would like to thank all those who contributed to the peaceful completion of the Irreechaa festival”, said Shimels Abdisa in his post-Irreechaa festival statement.

In his statement, reviewing the peaceful and successful celebration of the Irreechaa festival, Shimeles added, “I express my gratitude and appreciation to all our people, especially the security forces, for their efforts to make the celebration a success.”

He also commended the media institutions for their role in promoting the importance of the festival and its values.
