Office of First Lady inaugurates its 12th school in west Guji zone
Addis Ababa, January 26, 2021 (FBC) – A high school built in west Guji zone, Oromia regional state, with funding from Office of the First Lady was inaugurated today.
First Lady Zinash Tayachew, together with Chief Administrator of Oromia regional state, Shimeles Abdisa, inaugurated the school built in Suro Burguda woreda.
Aba Gadas, lelders and other regional officials also attended the inaugural event of the Efa Suro Burguda high school built with an outlay of 20 million birr
The school, which has an administrative building, classrooms, laboratory, library, meeting hall and toilets, can enrol 2,600 students in two shifts.
Office of the First Lady has so far built and handed over 12 high schools to the community across the country.
In a related development, First Lady Zinash has laid a cornerstone for a school that would be built in west Arsi zone with money collected from the sale of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s “Medemer” book.
