OBN inaugurates 2nd channel

Addis Ababa, April 16, 2020 (FBC) –Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed today inaugurated the 2nd channel and HD OBVan of the Oromia Broadcasting Network (OBN).

Other high-ranking government officials and regional states’ chief administrators also attended the inauguration ceremony of the new channel called ‘OBN Horn of Africa.’

Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister said “The role of the OBN is central for the unity that we have planned to build in the Horn of Africa.”

The new channel, which commenced trial transmissions in April,  is available at the following frequency:

In a related development, OBN’s Weliso, Ambo and Bale Robe FM radio stations were also inaugurated today.
