Number of returnees from Kuwait reaches 748

Addis Ababa, June 13, 2020 (FBC) – The number of Ethiopians who voluntarily returned home from Kuwait has reached 748 as the nation has repatriated 249 more citizens today.

Representatives from Ministry of Foreign Affairs have welcomed the returnees up on their arrival at Bole International Airport.

Today’s return came after a time 250 citizens returned home from Kuwait the day before last.

It is to be recalled that State Minister of Foreign Affairs Ministry Tsion Teklu held a phone conversation with Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister of Kuwait, Khaled Al Jarallah two weeks ago on the arrangements made to repatriate voluntary individuals home.
