Nigerian envoy praises Ethiopia’s enthralling investment reform

Addis Ababa, March 27, 2023 (FBC) – Nigerian Ambassador to Ethiopia, Victor Adeleke, has praised Ethiopia’s reform works in the investment sector which captivates investors and business people.

CEO of Ethiopian Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC), Aklilu Taddese, held discussion with the Nigerian Ambassador on investment-oriented issues.

It is stated that they advised on ways to explore possibilities of market opportunities in Nigeria for Ethiopian products.

During the discussion, Aklilu Tadese mentioned that Nigeria has a large population, which creates a great opportunity for products produced in industrial parks to find wide market opportunities.

In addition, he briefed the ambassador of the favorable conditions and incentives that IPDC has set so that investors engaged in various sectors in Nigeria can enter and produce in Ethiopian industrial parks.

Ambassador Victor, on his part, noted that the reform works carried out by Ethiopia in the investment sector are interesting and stimulate investors.

They also exchanged views on the need to work together on investment linkages.
