New government will reassess macroeconomic issues

Addis Ababa, September 29, 2021 (FBC) – Addressing participants of the monthly platform being organized by the Office of Prime Minister under the motto of “Addis Wog”, the Planning and Development Commissioner Fitsum Assefa clued the new government will reassess major macroeconomic issues.

The government will strive to maintain fastest economic growth and ensure fair and inclusive economic climate in the country, Fitsum underlined.

Fitsum reiterated government’s commitment to make Ethiopia Africa’s beacon of prosperity through market-led economic policy. The commissioner further called on citizens to play a leading role in doing so.
