New diplomacy calls for new approach: DPM & FM
Addis Ababa, January 13, 2024 (FBC) – Emerging alliances and geopolitical issues necessitate the concerted efforts of all stakeholders in Ethiopian diplomacy said Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Demeke Mekonnen, while concluding the Diplomatic Week Exhibition’s panel discussion at the Science Museum on Friday afternoon.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister said youth ownership and leadership are vital in diplomacy, according to MFA Ethiopia.
Diplomacy is no longer the exclusive domain of diplomats but requires the active participation of every citizen, he added.
