New book featuring PM Abiy Ahmed’s speeches, messages launched

Addis Ababa, May 20, 2024 (FBC) – A new book containing the speeches and messages of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed was launched today at Friendship Park Phase II, Addis Ababa.

Titled “Meskerem to Meskerem,” the publication features 91 messages and speeches delivered by the Prime Minister between October 2022 and September 2023 at a range of national events, international venues, and public holidays.

According to the Office of the Prime Minister, the launch event saw students read and present selected excerpts from the book, sparking insightful discussions among the audience. Professionals from diverse fields were also invited to share their perspectives on the content.

The book is expected to provide valuable insights into the Prime Minister’s vision and priorities during the covered period, which saw Ethiopia navigate complex domestic and global challenges.

The launch was attended by senior government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, academics, and representatives from the media. It marks the latest effort to document and disseminate the leadership’s key messages to the public.
