NEBE sets Aug 29 as date for election
Addis Ababa, February 14, 2020 (FBC) –Ethiopia’s upcoming elections will be held on August 29, 2020, according to the National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE).
Last month, NEBE proposed August 16 as a tentative date for the election.
Today’s announcement by the board was made at a conference organized to discuss on the forthcoming election.
During the conference NEBE also unveiled its new logo.
According to the new schedule, the final results of the election will be announced 30 Aug-8 Sep.
