NEBE receives over 500 candidates’ registration-related complaints

Addis Ababa, March 17, 2021 (FBC) –The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) said it has received more than 500 complaints in connection with registration of candidates.

The board is currently holding discussion with political parties regarding the upcoming 6th general election.

During the discussion, it was mentioned that the 47 political parties and 8,209 candidates have registered to participate in the election.

The board responded to complaints raised by the parties.
