NBE governor Mamo Mihretu confers with French Minister for Foreign trade Oliver Becht

Addis Ababa, February 7, 2023 (FBC) – Governor of the National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE), Mamo Mihretu along with the Finance State Minister Eyob Tekalign held talks with French Minister for Foreign Trade and Attractiveness, Oliver Becht.

The two sides have explored ways how to bolster trade partnership between Ethiopia and France. Oliver Becht appreciated the peace accord reached by the federal government and the TPLF.

The Minister further reiterated France’s commitment to support the Ethiopian Homegrown economic reform and rebuilding and reconstruction of war ravaged institutions and infrastructures in the country.
