NBE Governor confers with US Treasury Deputy Assistant Secretary Eric Meyer

Addis Ababa, August 9, 2024 (FBC) – National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) Governor, Mr. Mamo Mihretu, met today with US Treasury Deputy Assistant Secretary Eric Meyer, the central bank communications team confirmed today.

The meeting aimed to discuss recent macroeconomic developments and the central bank’s ongoing monetary and financial sector reforms.

They also explored ways to deepen the long-standing bilateral trade and investment relations between the two countries.
