Nation honors frontline health care workers in times of pandemic

Addis Ababa, July 19, 2021 (FBC) – The Ministry of Health along with several public institutions has organized an event to honor frontline health care workers and others who contributed achievements gained in the sector.

The Minister of Health, Dr. Lia Tadesse, on the occasion, said the health care workers have put their lives on the line to serve the country with utmost dedication.

“We are eternally grateful for your service in the fight against the COVID 19 pandemic” Dr. Lia noted.

High ranking government officials including Minister of Social and Labor Affair, Dr. Ergoge  Tesfay, Deputy Mayor of Addis Ababa Adanech Abiebie, representatives of international partners and public figures have attended the ceremony.
