MoWSA Minister confers with French Development Agency Director

Addis Ababa, October 5, 2023 (FBC) – Minister of Women and Social Affairs, Ergogie Tesfaye, today held a discusion with the French Ambassador to Ethiopia, Rémi Maréchaux and French Development Agency Director, Souchet Louis-Antoine.

The discussion aims to explore ways in providing girls and women in Ethiopia with sustainable access to quality, affordable and environmental-friendly menstrual hygiene products.

The Minister appreciated the support of the Government of France to realize this life changing project that would help solve girls’ and women’s challenges in many ways.

The project will help in addressing sanitation challenges and committed to building a sustainable market with affordable price for girls and women throughout Ethiopia, especially in rural areas, MoWSA Minister Ergogie Tesfaye said a post on her social media page.
