MoT expresses support for 11th Aviation Stakeholders Convention in Addis Ababa
Addis Ababa, April 14, 2023 (FBC) – Minister of Tourism of Ethiopia, Nasise Chali met with the Secretary General of the African Airlines Association (AFRAA) Abderahmane Berthé ahead of the forthcoming 11th Aviation Stakeholders Convention scheduled for 7-9 May in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
On the meeting Nasise expressed the support of the Ethiopian Ministry of Tourism for the Convention and reiterated the importance of initiatives by organizations such as AFRAA to spur the development of the air transport sector.
The African Airlines Association (AFRAA) in collaboration with Ethiopian Airlines are set to host the 11th Aviation Stakeholders Convention from 07 – 09 May 2023 at the Ethiopian Skylight Hotel in Addis, Ababa, Ethiopia.
According to Ethiopian airlines the 11th Aviation Stakeholders´ Convention (ASC) which will be hosted by Ethiopian Airlines and the African Airline Association (AFRAA) aims to promote, serve African and champion Africa´s aviation industry.
Ethiopian added that the convention will be held under the theme: “Changing the African Aviation Narrative”.
It is stated that the Aviation Stakeholders´ Convention (ASC) is one of Africa’s major forums for air transport industry stakeholders to dialogue, exchange knowledge and experiences for the development of the travel ecosystem.
