MoI, UNDESA launch projects to strengthening MSME in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, June 21, 2023 (FBC) – The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN- DESA) in partnership with Ethiopia’s Ministry of Industry launched two projects that aim at strengthening the resilience Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (MSME) and implementing the 2030 Agenda and SDGs.

During the launching event Abibatou Wane, Chief of the International Organization for Migration Ethiopian Mission (IOM-Ethiopia) said “Strengthening Micro-, Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (MSMEs) resilience in Ethiopia remains urgent and crucial to protecting jobs and livelihoods, particularly for women, youth and groups in vulnerable situations”.
