MoH, Illanga sign MoU to restore and equip war-ravaged health facilities
Addis Ababa, November 1, 2022 (FBC) – The Ethiopian Ministry of Health (MoH) signed a memorandum of understanding with Illanga, a Swiss volunteer service, for ‘Restore Hope Project’, to restore and equip health facilities.
It has been pointed out that the agreement aims to support the health services that have been destroyed by the terrorist TPLF in North Wolo Zone of the Amhara region with medical supplies and put them into operation.
Illanga’s mission is to restore health facilities destroyed by wars and conflicts into service by supporting them with the medical equipment they need and to restore the hope of human beings.
The Minister of Health, Dr. Lia Tadese, in her post on Twitter, thanked Illanga president and her charity team for their support.
“I would like to express my gratitude to Annemarie Geurts, President of illanga, her team and all the contributors for their commitment and generous support”, the Minister of Health tweeted.
According to Dr. Lia, the agreement was realized thanks to the concerted efforts of Ethiopian diaspora, non-Ethiopian volunteers and organizations in Switzerland.
