MoFA Spokesperson apologizes for Tuesday confusion
Addis Ababa, March 31, 2021 (FBC) – Spokesperson of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Dina Mufti has apologized for the confusion over his weekly press briefing held on Tuesday March 30, 2021.
He said that he cited the fact that “Ethiopia and Eritrea as close neighbors deserve a whole rounded relationship.”
“I also said both Eritreans and Ethiopians equally abhor the unfortunate war and adversity.” said Ambassador Dina in a statement.
“Ethiopia is committed to Eritrean sovereignty and I have been also equally committed. Therefore I would like to bring to the attention of fellow Eritreans and others that there has been an understanding of my presentation out of the context.” he added.
“I humbly apologize for the confusion. Long live Ethiopia -Eritrean solidarity”, the ambassador said.
