Ministry sends humanitarian assistance worth 26 mln Birr to displaced in Metekel Zone

Addis Ababa, December 30, 2020 (FBC) – Ministry of Revenue has dispatched humanitarian assistance including food parcels and clothing worth 26 mln to the displaced in Metekel Zone, Benshangul Gumuz region.

According to the Minister of Ministry of Revenu, Lake Ayalew said that the convoy of the trucks loaded with the humanitarian assistance has already reached at Chagni, nearby town to the region.

The assistance is aimed to provide the displaced victims who have been impacted by the recent attack by armed groups in various parts of Benshangul Gumuz region, the minister said.
