Ministry of Foreign Affairs commemorates the 127th Adwa Victory Day

Addis Ababa March 1, 2023 (FBC) – The staff and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of  Ethiopia (MFA), as well as affiliated institutions to the Ministry, have commemorated the 127th ADWA Victory Day on the premises of the Ministry.

State Minster of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Ambassador Birtukan Ayano on the commemorative ceremony stated that Adwa, which is the outcome of the heroic Ethiopians’ solidarity and collaboration, is a symbol of victory not just for the black people, but for all oppressed people who struggled for their freedom all over the world.

In addition to honoring heroes on Adwa Victory Day, ambassador Birtukan said Ethiopians should utilize their unity and brotherhood in poverty eradication.

Prayers of conscience were offered to the heroic patriots and literary works honoring the day were presented at the event, MFA stated.
