Ministry launches I-Care Initiative in Jimma University Medical Center

Addis Ababa, February 8, 2021 (FBC) -Jimma University Medical Center has launched I-Care Initiative, a program designed to bring a comprehensive change in hospitals.

Minister of Health, Dr Lia Tadesse and other officials attended the launching event.

The program helps to solve identified challenges and strengthen patient-centered services, through engaging internal and external stakeholders as well as redesigning processes.

The Minister also discussed with pertinent bodies about the challenges facing the university hospital and how to jointly solve them.

The Ministry of Health has a plan to start I-CARE initiative in 24 hospitals this Ethiopian fiscal year.
