Ministry, Embassy hold iftar meal program to needy people

Addis Ababa, May 2, 2020 (FBC) – Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in partnership with the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) held iftar meal program yesterday.

Some 300 low income households attended the iftar banquet organized in Addis Ababa.

Minister of Women, Children and Youth, Filsen Abdulahi on the occasion urged the haves to discharge their social responsibilities by assisting the have nots in times of crisis like the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Edible oil, rice, flour and dates are among the food items distributed to the low-income members of the community.
