Ministry describes recent visits of Ethiopian leaders to different countries as successful
Addis Ababa, December 23, 2021 (FBC) –The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has described the recent visits of Ethiopian leaders to different countries as productive.
MFA Spokesperson, Ambassador Dina Mufti today issued the Ministry’s biweekly press briefing focusing mainly on the political diplomacy carried last week.
During the visit, the Ethiopian leaders had successful discussion with their counterparts on the current situations in Ethiopia and bilateral issues, the Spokesperson indicated.
Ambassador Dina also commented of the convening of a Special Session of the UN Human Rights Council and the establishment of an international commission of experts on Ethiopia.
He said Ethiopia clearly stated that the decision is unacceptable, and it will not cooperate with the setup mechanism.
The Spokesperson further underscored that Ethiopians, People of Ethiopian origins and friends of Ethiopia have continued their impressive financial and moral support to the government and people of Ethiopia.
The #NoMore international movement has also been held in various countries of the world in support of the Ethiopian government, and in opposition to undue pressure of western powers on Ethiopia, he added.
