Ministries, US forest, GIZ launch initiative to amplify role of women leaders in Green Growth

Addis Ababa, January 27, 2021 (FBC) – An initiative aims to create a pipeline of female leaders that will help advance and achieve Ethiopia’s green growth and green manufacturing goals and increasing the involvement and influence of women managers has been launched today.

An initiative entitled “Women in Leadership” has Kicked off today in the presence of high ranking government officials and representatives of various international development partners.

The training program facilitated in collaboration with Ministry of Trade and Investment, Industry park development cooperation, Ethiopian Investment commission in partnership with US Forest Service and GIZ is intended to reinforce role of Women leaders in green growth drives.
