Mining investment forum underway in Bahir Dar city

Addis Ababa, October 25, 2022 (FBC) – A forum on mobilization of mining investment and development kicked off in Bahir Dar city in the presence of regional and federal officials.

The forum is focused on mineral resources and investment opportunities in the mining sector in the Amhara region.

Chief Administrator of the Amhara Regional State, Yilkal Kefale and Mines and Petroleum Minister, Takele Uma and several stakeholders are partaking on the forum.

It is stated on the occasion that there are more than 24 minerals used for construction, industry and energy. An exhibition featuring the mineral resources in the region has opened in the city.
