MILLs Minister, Abu Dhabi Fund chief discuss climate-resilient irrigation projects

Addis Ababa, February 13, 2024 (FBC) – The Minister of Irrigation of Lowlands of Ethiopia, Aisha Mohammed, engaged in a discussion with Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Fund, on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit in Dubai, as confirmed by the Ministry of Irrigation and Lowlands (MILLs).

During their discussion, the MILLs Minister and the Abu Dhabi Fund chief deliberated on fostering collaborative endeavors aimed at financing state-of-the-art and climate-resilient irrigation projects.

This collaboration, according to MILLs, marks a pivotal step towards sustainable agriculture and optimized water management, contributing to a greener, more sustainable Ethiopia with improved food security.

The MILLs Minister Aisha Mohammed is participating in the World Governments Summit in Dubai as part of the high-level Ethiopian delegation which also includes Minister of Innovation & Technology Belete Molla, Minister of Water & Energy Habtamu Itefa, and the Mayor of Addis Ababa City Ms. Adanech Abiebie.
