Menschen für Menschen extends 110mln birr support to IDPs, health care institutions

Addis Ababa, January 31, 2022 (FBC) – Menschen für Menschen Foundation announced that it has extended a support worth of 110 million birr to people displaced by TPLF and health care institutions damaged by the conflict.

The donation includes grain-based food supplies, child nutritious food, non-food supplies, medical equipment, financial and in kind assistance for restoration of health institutions, Public Relations Head of the Foundation, Muluneh Tolossa said.

Mulune added that more than 85 million birr worth food and non-food items have been distributed to people in need in Amhara and Afar regions.

He also added that the Foundation has provided over 25 million birr in support of the restoration of health care institutions in Amhara Regional state.
