Mekelle city dispatches over 1,000 trained youths to road construction works

Addis Ababa, June 17, 2021 (FBC) – Mekelle City Micro and Small Enterprises Office announced that more than 1,000 youths who have received trainings in cobblestone and tiling works have been involved in road construction works.

The youths are currently building a total of 15 km of alleyways and feeder-roads in seven sub cities of Mekelle, the head of micro and small scale enterprises coordination division at the office, Hailay Gebregiyorgis said.

Hailay added that the City Administration of Mekelle has appropriated more than 117 Million Birr for road construction and tiling works in the regional capital.
