Mayor of Addis Ababa meets with Brazilian Ambassador to Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, February 23, 2023 (FBC) – Addis Ababa City Administration Mayor Adanech Abiebie met today at her office with Brazilian Ambassador to Ethiopia Jandyr Ferreira dos Santos.

Both dignitaries discussed on ways in which Addis Ababa cooperates with Brazilian cities.

She thanked the Ambassador for the warm welcome accorded to her delegation and recognition given to Addis Ababa city during the “Milan Urban Food Policy Pact” (MUPP) Global Forum, held last October in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Recall that Addis Ababa City has won the 8th Milan Urban Food Policy Pact (MUFPP) Global Forum Award on Sustainable Diet and Nutrition for its ‘Schools Feeding Program’ best practice, beating 133 cities in the world, in October 17, 2022.
