Loza Abera listed in BBC 100 Women 2020

Addis Ababa, November 24, 2020 (FBC) – The renowned Ethiopian Female football player, Loza Abera has been listed in BBC 100 Women 2020.

The BBC has revealed its list of 100 inspiring and influential women including Loza Abera, Christina Adane, Netherlands Campaign, Sanna Martin, who leaders Finland’s all-female coalition government, Michelle Yeoh, star of the new Avatar and Marvel films and from around the world for 2020.

Loza Abera Geinore was born and raised in a small town in southern Ethiopia. She played for Hawassa City SC in the Ethiopian Women’s Premier League for two seasons, during which time she became the club’s top goalscorer.

She is now a professional footballer, and a member of the Ethiopian national women’s team.
