Local private sector productivity integral to nat’l industrialization aspirations

Addis Ababa, November 18, 2024 (FBC) – The domestic private sector productivity plays an integral role in attaining national industrialization goals and bolstering the country’s economy, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed underscored.

The Prime Minister shared his views on social media regarding the pivotal role of domestic private sectors after visiting large-scale industries this morning.

“Local private sector productivity plays a crucial role in achieving our national industrialization goals and strengthening our economy,” Abiy noted in a social media post with pictures showing the Ethiopian premier and other senior officials visiting various industries’ production process.

He claimed that large-scale industries are driving the “Made in Ethiopia” movement.

“AMG Holdings Industry Park, which specializes in value-added coffee exports and steel production, and Andinet Glass Technology, known for its glass and aluminum works, are commendable examples of the private sector’s contribution to industrial expansion,” the Prime Minister said.
