Kenya gives special place to its partnership with Ethiopia: Amb Orina
Addis Ababa, December 1, 2020 (FBC) –Director General of Africa and AU Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kenya, Ambassador George Orina met with Ethiopian Ambassador to Kenya, Meles Alem.
During the talks, Ambassador Orina said his country attaches special place to its partnership with Ethiopia.
The newly appointed Director General further said that “we will work together to make areas of cooperation between the two countries fruitful.”
Ambassador Meles said the partnership between the two countries could be elevated by completing the Lamu Port project and Moyale one stop border point.
Prior to his current appointment, Ambassador Orina was Deputy Head of Mission at the Kenya Embassy in Addis Ababa.
Finally, Ambassador Orina pledged to work to further enhance the relations between Ethiopia and Kenya, according to the Ethiopian Embassy in Kenya.
