Joint session of the two houses begins

Addis Ababa, October 10, 2022 (FBC) – The House of Peoples’ Representatives and the House of Federation have officially resumed their second annual session today after two months of recess.

President Sahle-Work Zewde is delivering an opening speech to the joint session of the Houses.

The president is highlighting achievements gained during the last budget year and government’s key plans and related priority areas during the 2015 Ethiopian fiscal year.

Resident Ambassadors, representatives of international institutions, religious leaders and guests are attending the opening session.
