Japanese company hails Ethiopia as key investment destination in Africa

Addis Ababa, July 3, 2023 (FBC) – Ambassador of Ethiopia to Japan Daba Debele discussed with Mutsuo Iwai, Chairperson of the Board of Japan Tobacco International on Monday.

Ambassador explained that Ethiopia’s Business potential and favorable business environments created following the new economic reforms.

Mutsuo Iwai, on his part, stated that Ethiopia is important investment destination in Africa and acknowledged the huge investment potentials of the country which encourages Japan Tobacco to expand its business and becoming among the top taxpayers in Ethiopia.
