IWCA Convention underway in Addis Ababa
Addis Ababa, October 16, 2023 (FBC) – The International Women’s Coffee Alliance (IWCA) Convention is underway in Addis Ababa in attendance of women in coffee sector from 33 countries and other stakeholders.
Women and Social Affairs Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Ergogie Tesfaye (PhD) along with other high level government officials is attending the convention.
Ethiopia is expected to tap the two day event to promote its immense potentials in the coffee production sector.
Research papers with recommendations aimed at enhancing women’s participation in the coffee development and alleviating challenges in the sector will be tabled at the convention.
The International Women’s Coffee Alliance (IWCA) Unites a global network of chapters and supports the work and growth of women in the international coffee community.
