Italy vows to support Ethiopia’s efforts in renovation of heritage sites

Addis Ababa, May 29, 2024 (FBC) – Ethiopian Tourism Minister, Nasise Chali held talks with the Italian Ambassador to Ethiopia Agostino Palese on ways of cooperation in the tourism sector.

In their discussions, they explored mechanism how to enhance cooperation between Ethiopia and Italy in the tourism sector and related areas.

Ambassador Agostino Palese affirmed Italy’s commitment to support renovation and rehabilitation of heritage sites and tourist destinations development activities being carried out by the Ministry of Tourism in various parts of the country.

They two further agreed to collaborate on human resource development and related areas that would help promote the efforts to enhance the tourism sector.
