IOM, NRC reiterate commitment to cooperate on DDR programs

Addis Ababa, July 19, 2023 (FBC) – Commissioner of the Ethiopian National Rehabilitation Commission (NRC), Teshome Toga, met with Emrah Guler, Head of Programmes at IOM Ethiopia.

During the meeting the two sides held discussions on how IOM and NRC can cooperate and work together to carry out a successful DDR program, especially to support and rehabilitate ex-combatants for the effectiveness of the Disarmament, Demobilization and Rehabilitation (DDR) program.

It is stated that IOM has been supporting NRC in strengthening institutional capacity.
