International Telecommunication Union consulting with Ethiopian coordinating committee

Addis Ababa, October 15, 2014 (FBC) The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) delegation is deliberating in Addis Ababa on the preparations for the International Telecommunication Development Conference to be hosted by Ethiopia.

The 8th International Telecom Development Conference will be held in Addis Ababa for the first time in Africa since May 4, 2022.

Ethiopia is preparing to host the conference which will be attended by 2,000 guests from several parts of the world successfully.

Representatives of the International Telecom Union are discussing with the organizing committee of the Telecom Development Conference.

Vice Chairman of the Ethiopian National Committee, Engineer Balcha Reba, said preparations are well underway with a view to make the conference a true African forum.
