Institutions urged to combine efforts for realization of Digital Ethiopia 2025

Addis Ababa, September 2, 2023 (FBC) – The Innovation and Technology Ministry (MinT) urged all public institutions to work in concert for the realization of Digital Ethiopia 2025 strategy.

MinT appraised midterm performance of the Digital Ethiopia 2025 strategy in attendance of more than 50 public institutions.

In her remarks at the performance review meeting, State Minister for Innovation and Technology, Huria Ali called on the institutions to team up towards the materialization of the strategy.

Agriculture, tourism, manufacturing industries entering the Global Value Chain (GVC), and services to be implemented through information and communication technology are the priority sectors in the Digital Ethiopia 2025 strategy, it is stated on the occasion.

Building infrastructure, creating enabling conditions, digital applications and creating a digital ecosystem are also said to be the pillars of the strategy.
